Automated Techies picker written in AutoIt v3
This is just a very simple AutoIt script that searches for the blue player's portrait border. When detected, the script types "tec" and then clicks the pick button. A basic GUI is provided for selecting the correct aspect ratio, since the position of the portrait changes based on that. Selecting the correct aspect ratio is crucial. It is not guaranteed to work every time, but it has worked most of the time in my tests. I have tested it to work on every resolution I was able to, without any issues.

REAL TALK: Your success with this script is almost entirely dependent on the speed of your computer or how fast/slow you load. If you have problems or think you can do it better than me, my #1 suggestion for you is to get AutoIt and mess with the script until you figure out what works best with your setup.
Page Down/PGDN: Start searching for blue player.
If enough people care about it, I will consider adding functionality to change the hotkey.
1. Click here to download, then extract files
2. Open PickTechies or run the script on your own. See the source code here
3. Make sure you are running in either Windowed or Borderless Windowed mode
4. Select your aspect ratio from the combo box
5. Start DOTA 2
**OPTIONAL, BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Load a bot game first and test if it's working
6. When you are either loading or waiting for other players to load, press Page Down on your keyboard
**NOTE: You do not want grid view selected. You want the wheel so text input can be used to select heroes
7. If it's worked, as soon as the hero pick screen comes up, the script will automatically select Techies and lock in
8. Have fun ruining the game for everyone else!
